2010 Regional BMW Club Driving School - "NO EXCUSES 3" The KC BMW Club and Sunbelt BMW Club are proud to announce this special event. Hallett Motor Racing Circuit will be the venue for this year's driving school. September 10-12 2010. Last year, the Kansas City and Sunbelt BMW Club chapters joined forces to bring you an exciting event! Please join us for the 2010 BMW Regional Driving School - "No Excuses 3" at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit on September 10th-12th. The school includes two days of instructed driving and a Friday orientation day for instructors and approved advanced students. Raising the bar another level over our sell-out event last year, we will be featuring a HPDE classroom presentation created by the great Ross Bentley. Bentley has combined over 20 seasons of race driving experience and 18 years of race driving instruction to become one of North America's foremost authorities on the art of driving. His series, Speed Secrets, is one of the best selling series of performance driving books of all time.
Hallett is considered one of the most exciting and technical tracks in the midwest! The track features ten turns, and considerable elevation change across its 1.8 mile circuit. Baron BMW in Kansas City is once again offering free pre-event tech inspections. Please contact their client care center at 913-722-6460. The host hotel is The Hampton Inn - Tulsa. The special event pricing offered by the Hampton Inn is $86/night single or double/occupancy. Visit the hotel's site: Hampton Inn - Tulsa. Use Group/Convention Code NEX
Students and instructors, please download the information packet, driving manual, helmet waiver form, and the appropriate classroom presentation. Information Packet -- This item must be downloaded by all students and instructors registered for the school. It contains useful information plus required forms that must be turned in during registration at Hallett; specifically, the Pre-Event Safety Inspection. Helmet Waiver Form -- All are required to fill out and turn in this form. You do not need to bring your helmet to registration.
High Performance Driving Manual -- This item must be downloaded by all novice students and read prior to coming to Hallett. Novice students should bring their copies of the manual to the school for use during classroom instruction. Intermediate and advanced students are recommended to download and review the principles contained in the manual.
