The 1960 Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop Reissue
From 1952 until 1958, the basic Les Paul model was finished as a goldtop. In '58 Gibson moved to a cherry sunburst finish, then back to goldtop in 1960.

Serial # 9 3942
A close-up of the stamped serial number, and nickel-plated "Gibson Deluxe" tuning covers. Gibson went with a very narrow neck on it's original '60 LP - this one noticeably narrower than the '59.
