Justin - great seeing you again! It was fun watching the Mini on track. I sense dedicated track pads in your future!

Ken and Will - Nice seeing you guys again too! Ken, I'm glad the "noise" was just a loose spark plug.

Mel and Julie! Great meeting you! Awesome pair of cars. The fact that the Touring is a 6M makes Julie my new hero! Sometime when you have a chance, check out the Uber Wagon that James Clay from Bimmerworld built.

All of the above......... I see many DE's in your future!

Some one asked for photos so here are a few. I didn't have too much time to take photos. It seemed like I was either in class, getting ready to go on track, or on track all the time. That and drinking gallons of water. If you see your car and want the original (15.1 MP) photo let me know. I probably have some other photos of your car too, I just posted what I thought looked good. Don't blame the camera for any poor shots, blame me. I've only had the camera a month. This is the first serious camera I have ever had (Canon Rebel T1i) and I will freely admit I don't know what I'm doing. :)

If I get what your car is wrong let me know and I'll edit the post. I'm new to this Bimmer thing so I don't know all the models yet.

The track photos were taken from the grandstands overlooking the end of "The Bitch"

Does anyone know what mods he's done to that red Cooper? Most cars my M could reel in pretty quick on the straights. That little pocket rocket took work to gain on.

Thanks to Greg Lippert and Mike Staub for making this event a great and fun one. Extended thanks to my instructor and his valuable knowledge/ advise throughout the DE. Learnt so much through every class session and on track experience. It was definitely a weekend I won't forget especially being my first DE. I am hooked and hoping to attend my next DE before the end of the year. Hope to see all you guys very soon!
